Kigali Employment service center
KIGALI EMPLOYMENT SERVICE CENTRE, KESC
The City of Kigali like any other capital city faces a challenge of high rates of unemployment. This is an issue that cuts across social classes, age, sex, and education level. This issue is even worse for youth, women and girls since they mostly lack basic skills and networks that would otherwise be helpful to secure employment opportunities on the labour market.
It is in this regard that in May 2013, the City of Kigali initiated a centre to endeavor reducing unemployment rate and enhance skills jointly with other key partners namely Ministry of Public Service and Labour (MIFOTRA) and GIZ.
