As the other parts of the World, the City of Kigali ushers in the new year of 2020 with spectacular display of fireworks in different areas.

To welcome the new year, some join their families upcountry, others come from village to enjoy the city during festive season, going to church, countdown concert among others

For Kigali city residents to make sure that they have entered in the new year, they wait until they watched fireworks bursting into the skies to say good bye to 2019 and to welcome new year of 2020

To welcome of new year, fireworks were shot at four sites namely Kigali Stadium (Nyamirambo), Amahoro National Stadium (Remera), Bumbogo Hill in Gasabo District, and Kimihurura at Kigali Convention Centre.

It was amazing and fantastic to spectators to watch colorful skies as they were singing different songs of believing in the new year to come

The country starts the new Vision of 2050, the City of Kigali wishes city residents that the new decade be the time of new beginnings, fresh starts also comes with new goals, new achievements.
