Thursday, 8 December - The City of Kigali conducted the ninth job fair event that brought together more than 800 jobseekers and various job providers in order to create connectivity and sharing information related to the labour market.

The key quote: “This job fair is an opportunity for jobseekers and companies to meet face-to-face and exchange about career opportunities. The companies have the chance to meet a larger number of potential employees at one place and expose the opportunities available within their organisations. The jobseekers are given the opportunity to learn more about potential employers and exploit the availed opportunities.” Urujeni Martine, Vice Mayor in Charge of Socio-Economic Affairs.

 Since 2013, the City of Kigali conducts an annual job fair event to address unemployment among youth by linking employers and jobseekers through different training and counselling sessions.
