
The Mayor looks at one of the ravines constructed
Today on 27th April the Mayor of the City of Kigali Ndayisaba Fidele togather with the Director of the Community Development fund (CDF)Nkunda Laetitia visited different development projects in Kigali city.
The aim of the visit was to asses the progress of the projects supported by CDF and also monitor how they are improving the livelihoods of the population.

They visited road constructions in Nyarugenge and Kicukiro districts, constructions of ravines, street lights in Nyarugenge.The officials visited water channels in Kimisagara and the newly constructed Nduba Health Centre, which will offer health services to over 14,600 residents who previously had to travel over five kilometres to the nearest health facility.

The officials found out that the health centre, which has about ten employees, including nurses and mid-wives, apparently has insufficient medical equipment.
“We are now going to seek help from concerned departments to ensure that all the equipment required by the health centre to be fully operational are acquired,” Ndayisaba told the reporters at the end of the visit.
