

Mayor Ndayisaba Fidele delivering a welcome speech
The Mayor of the City of Kigali Ndayisaba Fidele call upon the city residents to use the Genocide commemoration period as a time to cement rwandan unity and support the Genocide survivors.
He made the call while delivering a welcome note at the 18 commemoration of the Genocide against the Tutsi. The ceremony took place at Amahoro National stadium.
The Mayor called for redoubled effort to support survivors and also stressed that it is vital that survirors are not isolated during this Genocide commemoration period.
"For 17 years rwandans have lived in a discrimination free country and their role in supporting this discrimination free society. Together with the will and capacity of this Government that stopped the Genocide, we are sure it wont happen again", the Mayor said.
The Mayor called upon city residents to participate in different activities organised in the commemoration period.
